Idle Hands is an ongoing project tracing a group of friends spread across North America. Every two years, they gather in Central and Southern Texas for a week of hunting and cooking- filling their freezers with meat taken from the land. From first light to the last ember of the fire, the days unfold in a rhythm shaped by shared work between trusted companions.

Photographed in a traditional documentary style, Idle Hands explores the traditions of responsibly managed wild game hunting and the moody character of the ranches where it takes place, reflecting on friendship, food, and the landscapes that sustain them.
