Hi- I’m Allan. I’m a photographer based in London, ON. I use photography to report on recollections and impressions of daily life. My distinctive fine art style organizes subjects using clean, crisp lines and the interplay of light, shadow and negative space. My photographs offer less a full account of a situation or setting than a flexible, more distant sense of time and space that doesn’t always rely on immediate context for impact.

A life documented at arm’s length, perhaps.

I’m currently a mentee in the Room Up Front photojournalism mentorship program. My work has been recognized by the Ontario Arts Council.
